Meet Lori - The Owner & Creative Mind of Pure

Lori is the kind of person who can walk into a room and immediately start imagining what it could be. She loves beautiful things, but even more than that, she loves creating them.

She has an eye for styling, a serious appreciation for the little details, and a natural curiosity that keeps her trying new things. She’s also the person who will change her mind halfway through a project because she just had a better idea — and honestly, that’s part of the fun.

Her favourite part of owning the business isn’t just choosing what goes on the shelves. It’s the creative freedom, the people she’s met along the way, and getting to turn the ideas in her head into something people can deeply enjoy.

And yes, she probably already has an idea for what’s next.

OUR STORY

In 2012, Lori took a leap and opened the doors to a little shop filled with the things she loved most: home décor, beautiful floral arrangements, and painted furniture. It was a place to create, to dream, and to share her love of making things beautiful with others.

Over the years, that little dream grew and changed in ways she never could have imagined. Apparel became a new chapter, bringing fashion and personal style into the mix. More recently, the charm bar and perfume bar opened up an entirely new side of the business — giving people a chance to create something that is truly their own.

While the store may look very different from those early days, the heart behind it hasn’t changed. It’s still about creativity, making people feel good, and creating a place where there’s always something new to discover.

And after all these years, we’re incredibly grateful that Lori’s little dream has become something shared with so many people.

We believe style is one of the ways we get to express who we are — and there’s no right or wrong way to do it. Some days you want to dress up, some days you want to keep it simple, and sometimes you just want to try something completely different.
